| Distributed Work Beta Opportunity
THE DISTRIBUTED WORK OPERATING MODEL OPPORTUNITY
Smart companies today are investing in remote access services and support, building next-generation infrastructures that allow employees to work any time, from anywhere, at lower costs. The operating model and groundwork laid for distributed work by these companies encompass telecommuting, mobile work, hoteling, telework centers and satellite offices, and takes a holistic approach to the organization. But they've only come part way and miss:
. Cost savings in reduced real estate
. Savings in employee retention and recruitment
. The bottom line benefits of increased productivity
BETA OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a beta client willing to join us in validating the metrics of our distributed work model. The ideal candidate is a commercial firm interested in learning how implementing a distributed work operating model for 50 to 100 employees could significantly enhance bottom-line profits. Ideally, but not required, the firm has either few or no distributed workers, or a high number of occasional teleworkers, and suffers stressors such as high turnover, high real estate costs, space constraints, or long employee commutes.
For this project opportunity, we will take responsibility for all aspects of the initial distributed work assessment at no profit. The assessment
includes: 1) a no-cost two-day on-site analysis, 2) a distributed work implementation plan, 3) an approximate budget outlining the cost/benefit of the distributed work implementation over a two-year period. Our beta client company will be responsible for only our project managers' time and any
out-of-pocket expenses beyond the initial two-day analysis.
In a typical commercial deployment, many months would be spent with the client following the initial assessment. For this beta project, our project team will spend a brief time with the client on-site conducting the assessment and designing the distributed work processes. Following completion of the assessment we will provide the selected client with a comprehensive analysis, beta tools, and supporting documentation for implementing the program moving forward-as well as any necessary referrals.
At this point our company would assume an advisory role, unless our selected beta client requests full-scale implementation by our team, at which time we would negotiate a fee structure based on a percentage of projected cost savings.
WHO WE ARE
We represent the best of "the telework industry." We are a group of visionaries and telework veterans that have collectively deployed thousands of remote workers in private and public sector organizations over the past 20 years. We are practitioners, authors, trainers and respected industry leaders in the work practices, information technology and corporate real estate fields.
We embody the future! We're inspired and energized by the power of a completely new way of working that cuts costs, spurs economic development, bolsters national security and enriches our communities.
OUR VISION
Our new company will be the world's first systems integrator for distributed work. Unlike a consulting firm, as a systems integrator we will partner to offer a best-of-breed, end-to-end solution tailored to fit client company's unique culture and business objectives like yours.
Our comprehensive strategy includes assessment of the client's IT infrastructure, real estate utilization, and personnel challenges, followed by the use of our own unique tools to calculate cost savings and project additional revenue resulting from increased productivity. We then develop and craft a strategy that ties the success of our client's company successful adoption of distributed work to our own success.
NEXT STEPS
Let's work together to determine whether your firm is a good fit for our beta project. If so, we will commit to conduct a two-day assessment that will help us select a final candidate. Our goal is to have our committed beta client no later than July 11.
